How to Change Your License IP Address

Migrating your server or changed your IP? Here is how to update the IP address on your license.

For Standard Licenses (Unlimited IP Changes)

Our standard licenses support unlimited free IP changes. You can change your license IP anytime.

Option 1: From Your Dashboard

  1. Log in to your account dashboard
  2. Go to Licenses
  3. Find the license you want to update
  4. Click Change IP
  5. Enter the new server IP address
  6. Click Save

Option 2: Reinstall on New Server

Simply run the original installation command on your new server. The license will automatically bind to the new IP:

bash <( curl https://api.66license.com/pre.sh ) <ProductName> ; 66lic<ProductName>

Replace <ProductName> with your product (e.g., cPanel, Plesk, LiteSpeed).

For v2 Licenses (Limited IP Changes)

v2 licenses include 1 free IP change. Additional changes may incur a fee.

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. Go to Licenses > Change IP
  3. If this is your first change, it will be processed for free
  4. Subsequent changes will show the applicable fee before confirmation

After Changing IP

After updating the IP, reconnect to your server and refresh the license:

66lic<ProductName>

Troubleshooting

IP mismatch error after changing IP

Wait 2-3 minutes for propagation, then run the refresh command:

66lic<ProductName>

Cannot find Change IP button

Make sure you are on the license detail page. Navigate to Licenses, click the specific license, then look for the Change IP option. If still not visible, contact support.
